Meet Samantha Sanchez

Creating a school where students love to learn.

When students feel known, supported, and excited to come to school, incredible things happen. That's the philosophy that has guided Samantha Sanchez throughout her career and continues to shape her work as Campus Leader at Primer University Heights. With nearly a decade of experience in education, Samantha has served in a variety of roles, including teaching high school English and reading, serving as a K–12 Dean of Students, and leading middle school learners as a Primer Leader. Those experiences have reinforced one belief: every student deserves a learning environment where they feel seen, challenged, and empowered to grow.

Samantha joined Primer because its approach to learning aligned with what she had always believed great education could be. "As an educator, I've always believed the best learning happens when students feel known." She was drawn to Primer's commitment to personalized learning and the opportunity to create classrooms where students can take ownership of their learning while being part of a supportive, inclusive community. What continues to inspire her is the freedom to design meaningful projects, memorable traditions, and engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and make students excited to come to school each day. For Samantha, some of the most rewarding moments happen gradually. She loves watching students grow academically and personally as they gain confidence, overcome challenges, discover new interests, and accomplish goals they may not have thought were possible.

Just as meaningful are the relationships she builds with students. Every learner brings unique strengths, perspectives, creativity, and personality into the classroom, making each day a new opportunity to learn alongside them. Samantha's goal reaches far beyond academic success. She wants every student to leave her classroom feeling supported, valued, and excited about learning. When students know their ideas matter and that they truly belong, they're more willing to take risks, embrace challenges, and grow into confident learners. By creating a school community where students enjoy showing up each day, Samantha hopes to inspire a lifelong love of learning that extends well beyond the classroom.

When she's not at school, Samantha enjoys baking, traveling, and getting lost in a good book. Her favorite novel is The Great Gatsby, her signature dessert is homemade snickerdoodle cookies, and her dream travel destination—and favorite place to visit—is Greece. Whether she's leading the University Heights campus or connecting with students each day, Samantha is passionate about creating a school where every child feels known, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
