How does Primer keep students safe?

Creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Creating a safe, welcoming learning environment is one of Primer's highest priorities. We want every student to feel secure at school and every family to have confidence that their child is learning in a safe and supportive environment.

Each Primer campus follows established safety procedures designed to protect students throughout the school day. These measures include secure buildings with controlled access, security cameras throughout campus, emergency response plans developed in partnership with local safety agencies, and regular emergency preparedness drills that help students and staff know what to do in the event of an emergency.

The people caring for your child are just as important as the systems in place. All Primer employees complete background checks before working with students and receive ongoing training on school safety, emergency procedures, and campus protocols.

Safety also means creating an environment where students feel respected, supported, and valued. We strive to build classrooms where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking on new challenges, building friendships, and being themselves. By working together with students and families, we foster a culture of kindness, respect, and responsibility that helps every child feel a sense of belonging.

Providing a safe environment is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to continually reviewing and strengthening our practices so students can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and enjoying their school experience.
