Students meet virtually with their classmates and teacher twice per week. These class meetings are supplemented with aligned and rigorous self-paced tasks students can do on their own schedule, flexible teacher office hours, small group sessions, and an online space where they can connect with their classmates and receive support between sessions.
All class meeting times and office hours are scheduled between 9 am and 3 pm Eastern Time.
Each class requires a 4-5 hour time commitment each week for 16 weeks. Classes meet virtually twice per week for one hour. Assigned work is estimated to take between 2-3 hours per week. There will also be optional additional time for small groups or office hours.
Students meet virtually with a small cohort of no more than 15 students and their teacher.
Primer’s carefully vetted, standards-based curriculum ensures students build competitive transcripts so that our graduates will be admitted by top-tier high schools and universities.
We virtually administer an assessment prior to classes starting to determine each child’s ideal class placement.
Parents will receive a transcript, demonstrating their kid’s progress, as well as regular progress updates from your child’s teacher.
Tuition for an individual class is $50/mo, or $200 per semester.
Tuition for full enrollment (all 3 classes - Math, Science, ELA) is $150/mo, or $600 per semester.
Since each class has 32 live sessions, this breaks down to a little over $6 per class!
We’re really excited to enroll siblings, homeschool pods, and support other schools with live education. If you fall into one of these categories, please reach out for additional pricing adjustments!
Most importantly, one of our goals is for finances to never be a reason that any child doesn’t have access to Primer, so we have scholarship options available. Please reach out.
