At Primer, we’re determined to build a home where as many kids as possible can cultivate what they're uniquely passionate about learning—regardless of where they're from.
This is why we're thrilled to announce a new milestone in accessibility:
We’re now a partner for the Empowerment Scholarship Account (“ESA”) Program in Arizona. This means that families in Arizona who qualify will be able to use public funding to pay for Primer memberships.
If you’re a family in Arizona who is already approved for ESA, all you have to do is sign up now at withprimer.com/signup. When prompted, enter your ESA card information during the sign up process. That’s it!
Now regardless of what your kid is interested in—from space exploration to comic-book illustration and everything in between—there's a place for them in Primer to explore, experiment, and build with peers who share their ambition.
If you’re interested in applying for the Arizona ESA program, you can do that here: https://www.azed.gov/esa/
For more context, the Arizona ESA program allows students to receive their public funding directly and allocate it towards different uses, including programs like Primer. The Arizona ESA limits eligibility to certain groups including:
- students with special needs
- foster kids
- Native Americans on reservations
- children of active-duty military personnel
- students assigned to low-performing district schools
This is just some of our first steps—we’re on a mission to remove barriers to access to quality educational resources across different communities. We're still working towards expanding access to Primer in other states.
P.S. We’re running a limited time Back-to-School Promotion. Families who sign up now will receive free Primer memberships for the rest of 2021. Sign up here: withprimer.com/signup
